Happy Eid Mubarak! [2008]

This year we celebrated at our house. When i came back to my home, during Ramadhan, my brother and his wife came to our house to break fast with us. After that, we went to masjid to pray solat Tarawikh. Later when we came back from tarawikh, my siblings and I played mercun and thunderclap. Including my eldest brother too! My sister-in-law just laughed at my brother..lol..it went on until the end of Ramadhan.. We really enjoyed every single day of Ramadhan! But i have a little problem.. my cat afraid of the sound of mercun! everytime it hears it, it will ran into the house and hide under the stairs! it's really cute to watched it ran like maniac (hey, i'm a cat lover..).

Then, came the day what i call 'income day'..really..and that day is Hari Raya Aidilfitri..heheh..i got duit raya from my parents..and how much? It's top secret, i can't tell u lot. What made me felt more happy is that my brother and his wife gave me duit raya too! i just can't actually believe it! after the 'emotional session', we went to visit my uncle's grave. He was a funny man..After that, we went to visit my father's side because almost all of them live in Shah Alam and KL..and will you believe it, i got duit raya from them too! I looked puzzled because hey, im 18 now! then my uncle told me university students really can't live without money..actually, i wanted to tell him that i didn't need that much money..but i just kept my mouth shut because like old folks said 'rezeki jangan ditolak'.. eheheheh..

Yeah, of course i gained weight at that time.. i mean, how can i resist lontong, ketupat and lots more? kuih raya too..(really bloated) That night, before I went to sleep, i was thinking about how other country celebrated Eid..especially Palastine, Afghanistan..and Iran.. i kept thinking about the children there..what did they eat? I am really grateful to have this life..

My experience of being a UiTM student for 1 month

My experience of being a UiTM student for approximately one month is so confusing. Why? Well, i tell you why. First of all, i find it hard (untill now) to communicate with some people here in UiTM Dungun because majority of the students here is from East Coast and I am from West Coast. So you can understand how I felt right? I know some people from my place understand the slang, not me though!
I remember my first day here, i felt so excited because I managed to find new friends but on the same time it made my head spinning! I cannot catched up with their slang! You know what, the funny thing was some of them also did not understand what i was talking about..you know, like a duck talking to a chicken! They said i talked too fast..well..no comment..;p

My first day staying in 'my second home', that is college Redang, i felt really uncomfortable. I could not stand the heat in the room, i could not accept the fact that i have to share the WASH ROOM with more than 20 girls at the same time..but now (heheh..), i can accept it..because it is a reality, and i must learn how to adapt with a new place..Talking about walking to the class, oh my..i cannot accept this! I wish i have a car, then i don't have to walk under the hot sun.
I know you will think i was facing a bad experience.. but behind all these things, i think i had manage to find my inner self. I can now manage to survive alone, without my parent's help.
I think i have wrote enough about my experience here..i have to stop typing now...since i came to cyber cafe with a bicycle and it's going to rain, i'm better off now..auf wedersehein to you readers!
